Gaza city: Mladenov, the High Representative of the UN Special Coordinating Committee on the Middle East Peace Process, has stated that the Israeli army's withdrawal from Gaza is contingent upon the areas being cleared of weapons and tunnels. This announcement sheds light on the ongoing negotiations related to the Gaza Strip, aimed at ensuring the region does not threaten Israel's security.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Roadmap document, which represents an agreement between the UN-led Peace Council headed by US President Donald Trump and Hamas, outlines the conditions for these negotiations. Mladenov, in an interview with Israel's Channel 12, indicated that all parties are actively engaged in talks concerning Gaza, with hopes for positive outcomes.

Mladenov further explained that the Israeli military presence in the Strip is subject to specific conditions. The Israeli army has been requested not to deploy forces beyond the "yellow line" in Gaza. The framework for action in the region involves addressing tunnels, manufacturing workshops, and personal weapons of the factions involved.
