Imam Ali Center Distributes School Uniforms to 10,000 Orphaned Children


Najaf: The Imam Ali (peace be upon him) Center for the Care of Orphans and the Needy at the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali (peace be upon him) has launched an initiative distributing school uniforms to orphaned children, aligning with the commencement of the new academic year. This effort is a part of the Holy Shrine’s broader support programs aimed at assisting vulnerable segments of society.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the center’s director, Adel al-Jamali, announced the distribution plan, stating that approximately 10,000 orphaned and needy children of both genders are receiving school uniforms along with essential school supplies. Al-Jamali emphasized that the initiative is designed to provide these children with all necessary items for their educational journey.



Al-Jamali further elaborated that the initiative includes not only school uniforms but also a comprehensive package of school clothes, stationery, and other required supplies. The aim is to ensure that high-quality items are selected to meet the needs of the children, equipping them adequately for the new academic year.
