Impersonating a Doctor: Suspect Arrested for Selling Drugs in His Clinic


Baghdad: The Rusafa Police Command has announced the arrest of a suspect who was selling drugs from a clinic located in the Amari area. The individual had been impersonating an internal medicine and surgery doctor to carry out these illegal activities.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the breakthrough in the case occurred after another suspect, already involved in drug-related cases, confessed to the presence of a person selling drugs from within his clinic. Acting on this information, law enforcement conducted a raid, catching the suspect in the act of selling drugs.



The authorities reported that during the raid, they confiscated 160 narcotic pills, a scale used for weighing drugs, and several used needles from the clinic premises. Legal proceedings have been initiated against the suspect following his arrest.
