Baghdad:Security units from the Rusafa Police Command have successfully apprehended an individual wanted by the judiciary, along with 40 other individuals found in violation of residency terms in Baghdad.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the arrests were made following a security operation and proactive inspection campaign conducted by joint units in the Al-Bataween area and Al-Nidhal Street, located in central Baghdad.

The operation led to the arrest of a suspect wanted under Article 405 of the Penal Code. The 40 individuals in violation of residency terms have also been taken into custody. Legal procedures are currently being undertaken against all those arrested.
