Baghdad: The Directorate of Narcotics Affairs announced the seizure of 3.5 kg of crystal methamphetamine and the arrest of four suspects in Babylon.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, in a statement, the Directorate detailed that in two separate operations, its Babylon Narcotics Affairs detachments dealt significant blows to drug trafficking networks. These operations resulted in the considerable seizure of 3.5 kg of crystal methamphetamine and led to the arrest of four individuals suspected of involvement in drug trafficking activities.

The General Directorate of Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances emphasized its ongoing dedication to combating drug dealers and traffickers. It reiterated its efforts to dismantle the sources of drug trafficking and its commitment to ensuring that those involved are brought to justice.
