Tunis: The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, held separate meetings with several of his counterparts during the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers in Tunisia. He engaged in discussions aimed at strengthening bilateral relations and exploring development avenues.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Shammari met with Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz Al Saud, Djibouti’s Saeed Nouh Hassan, Oman’s Hamouda bin Faisal Al-Busaidi, and Somalia’s Abdullah Sheikh Ismail. The discussions centered on enhancing mutual interests and fostering cooperation through the exchange of expertise and information.
The statement from Al-Shammari’s office highlighted that the discussions included exchanging views on topics of common interest, particularly within the security domain. Additionally, they addressed issues being discussed at the 42nd meeting of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers.
