Baghdad: The International Development Bank (IDB) announced on Thursday that its total assets have exceeded 3 trillion dinars, while its paid-up capital has reached 400 billion dinars. The bank affirmed its continued investment in financial technology, promoting financial inclusion, and supporting the Iraqi economy, coinciding with its 15th anniversary.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the bank noted that it has expanded its branch and office network and developed its banking services for individuals and companies over the past years, in addition to its presence outside Iraq. The statement added that “the bank’s paid-up capital amounts to 400 billion Iraqi dinars, while its total assets have exceeded 3 trillion Iraqi dinars, reflecting the significant growth and expansion it has achieved in recent years.”
The bank also indicated its “continued investment in financial technology and the development of the digital banking infrastructure, through the provision of modern banking solutions and devices that allow customers to conduct withdrawals and deposits and access banking services more easily and quickly.” /End 8M.
