Int’l Delegations Arrive in Iraq to Participate in the Third Baghdad International Conference on Combating Drugs


Baghdad: A number of international delegations arrived in Baghdad on Saturday to participate in the Third Baghdad International Conference on Combating Drugs, organized by the Ministry of Interior and scheduled for Sunday and Monday.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Ministry of Interior indicated that the Lebanese delegation arrived in Baghdad to participate in the event. The Pakistani delegation also reached Baghdad to take part in the conference.



The statement also noted the arrival of the Kuwaiti delegation in Baghdad for the conference. Additionally, Mohammed bin Ali Koman, the Secretary-General of the Council of Arab Interior Ministers, arrived to join the event.



The statement further included that the delegation from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan arrived to be part of the conference. The Ministry of Interior is hosting the conference under the theme ‘Hand in Hand We Fight Drugs’ on December 7-8, 2025.
