Tehran: Iran announced the completion of preparations to restart Bushehr nuclear power plant. The plant’s director, Reza Banazadeh, confirmed in a statement that it is ready to produce electricity starting June 22.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Banazadeh also announced the completion of the new desalination unit project at the plant, which will provide 75,000 cubic meters of water per day to the residents of Bushehr.
