Baghdad: The Public Relations and Media Office of the Saheb al-Zaman Guard in Isfahan province denied on Saturday the validity of reports circulating about an alleged US-Israeli attack on nuclear facilities in the province. The office stated that what is being circulated on social media platforms regarding the targeting of nuclear facilities in Isfahan is “completely false,” emphasizing that no attack has occurred on these facilities, according to the Iranian news agency Tasnim.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the statement from the Saheb al-Zaman Guard’s office warned against the circulation of such news during the current circumstances. It was described as an attempt to sow confusion, anxiety, and destabilize the public. The statement called for refraining from sharing unreliable information that could exacerbate tensions.

The United States resumed its airstrikes on Iran on August 31st, marking the first US attack on Iran since late July. However, there has been no confirmation or evidence supporting the claims of an attack on nuclear facilities in Isfahan, reinforcing the stance of the Iranian authorities.
