Iranian Revolutionary Guard Navy Issues Warning to Kuwait and Bahrain

Baghdad: The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy has issued a stern warning to the Gulf states of Kuwait and Bahrain, stating that their ports may become targets in response to actions by the US military.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the warning comes in the wake of alleged attacks by the US military on several Iranian oil tankers. The statement from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard emphasized the urgency of the situation, instructing oil tanker crews currently stationed in the ports of Kuwait and Bahrain to vacate their vessels and leave the docks immediately. The Iranian Navy accused these ports of facilitating the actions of the US military and warned of potential retaliation.

The statement has raised concerns about escalating tensions in the region, as the strategic ports of Kuwait and Bahrain play significant roles in the transportation of oil. The warning could potentially disrupt maritime activities and exacerbate existing geopolitical frictions. The situation remains fluid, with regional and international stakeholders closely monitoring developments.
