Tehran:The Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced that a giant oil tanker exploded after crossing the Strait of Hormuz in an unauthorized manner. This incident marked the third such occurrence on the same day.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Iranian media outlets reported hearing explosions in the sea near Sirik and Qeshm Island.

The Fars News Agency suggested that the explosions near Sirik and Qeshm Island might have resulted from warning shots fired at vessels violating regulations in the Strait of Hormuz.
