Iraq and Bahrain FMs Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations and Arab Cooperation


Cairo: Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein engaged in discussions with Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif Al-Zayani today, focusing on the enhancement of bilateral relations between Iraq and Bahrain. The talks centered on developing these relations to benefit both nations.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place during the 164th Session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the level of Foreign Ministers, hosted at the League’s headquarters in Cairo. The discussions highlighted the importance of joint Arab cooperation within the framework of the Arab League.



The officials specifically addressed cooperation areas in light of Iraq’s current presidency of the Arab League Council at the summit level during its 34th session, alongside Bahrain’s previous leadership role at the 33rd Arab Summit.
