Riyadh:Minister of Electricity Ali Saadi Waheeb from Iraq met with Saudi Minister of Energy and Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The meeting focused on prospects for cooperation in the energy sector, joint coordination, and support for electrical grid stability.

According to Iraqi News Agency, the discussions took place on the sidelines of the WPC Energy conference in Riyadh, with the presence of Iraq’s Oil Minister Basim Mohammed Khudair Al-Abadi.

The meeting underscored the importance of continued coordination and expanding cooperation between Iraq and Saudi Arabia to support electrical grid stability and develop their energy sector partnership, aiming to fulfill mutual interests.
