Baghdad: The Iraqi government condemned the recent attacks targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, affirming its rejection of aggression that threatens the Kingdom’s security and stability. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Ali Faleh al-Zaidi, has ordered an immediate investigation into the circumstances of the attacks and the parties responsible.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the spokesperson for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Sabah al-Nu’man, stated that the Iraqi government condemns the attacks on Saudi Arabia and emphasizes its commitment to preserving the fraternal relationship between the two nations. The statement highlighted Iraq’s appreciation for Saudi Arabia’s response to Iraq’s efforts to manage the situation, reflecting a mutual concern for stability and continued cooperation that benefits both countries.

In response to the attacks, Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief Ali Faleh al-Zaidi has mandated an urgent investigation to uncover the circumstances and identify those involved, with assurances that legal actions will be taken against any proven perpetrators. The government’s stance is clear: any activity that endangers Iraq or its international relations will not be tolerated.
