Baghdad: Iraqi Airways announced the addition of new flights to its schedule on the Baghdad-Amman route, starting next Friday, September 11, 2026, in response to a significant increase in passenger demand.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the company stated in a press release that, “According to the new schedule, the frequency of flights will increase from one flight daily throughout the week to two flights daily on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in the coming period, which will contribute to increasing the national carrier’s capacity and providing additional travel options for passengers.”
This step comes as part of keeping pace with the growing demand for travel, enhancing operational flexibility, and responding to passenger needs, in line with the demand on the Baghdad-Amman route.
