Baghdad:Iraqi Parliament Speaker Heibat Al-Halbousi and Bahraini Parliament Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam engaged in discussions to enhance bilateral relations and parliamentary cooperation between their respective countries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Halbousi and Al-Musallam conducted a telephone conversation on Wednesday, focusing on ways to strengthen ties and develop cooperation between the legislative bodies of Iraq and Bahrain.

The discussion highlighted the importance of bolstering communication and coordination between the legislative institutions of both nations at regional and international forums. Additionally, the speakers addressed recent developments in the region and various issues of mutual interest.
