Iraqi Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee Plans New Season Competitions


Baghdad: The Futsal and Beach Soccer Committee of the Iraqi Football Association convened its second meeting under the leadership of Dr. Tariq Al-Hajjiya, with Vice Chairman Sajjad Kadhim and Committee Member Ali Jassim in attendance. The meeting focused on organizing the competitions for the upcoming season.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, the committee discussed various organizational and technical aspects related to futsal and beach soccer. Key topics included the regulations for the Professional Futsal League, mechanisms for competition organization, and a scheduled meeting with the Professional League clubs on September 16th to review regulations and preparations for the competition.



The committee also arranged a workshop for Professional Futsal League supervisors on September 17th and scheduled a training course for league supervisors to improve the organizational and administrative aspects of the competition. Additionally, plans were made to hold training courses for futsal and beach soccer, alongside nominating coaches for participation in the FIFA Development Course, aimed at enhancing coaching staff skills.



Moreover, the date for the Professional Futsal League draw ceremony was discussed, along with preparations for its execution. The committee also deliberated on the mechanism for conducting the Futsal and Beach Soccer Super Cup, ensuring that upcoming events are organized with clear and structured principles.



The committee emphasized its dedication to ongoing coordination with clubs, supervisors, and technical staff, and pledged to follow up on all matters related to futsal and beach soccer competitions. This commitment aims to contribute to the development of the game and elevate the level of competitions and personnel involved.
