Baghdad: The Iraqi Meteorological Organization has forecasted clear skies in the central and southern regions, alongside rain in the northern region in the coming days. According to National Iraqi News Agency, the organization announced that Saturday’s weather will generally be clear, with conditions becoming partly cloudy in the eastern parts of the northern region, bringing a chance of light rain showers. The temperatures are expected to remain consistent with the previous day’s readings.
The statement provided detailed temperature forecasts for the Iraqi governorates, indicating maximum temperatures for Friday as follows: Dohuk and Sulaymaniyah at 37°C, Erbil at 39°C, Nineveh and Kirkuk at 40°C, Anbar at 42°C, Salah al-Din and Diyala at 43°C, Baghdad, Babylon, Karbala, and Najaf at 44°C, Wasit, Diwaniyah, Maysan, Dhi Qar, and Muthanna at 45°C, and Basra at 46°C.
The organization further predicted that Sunday’s weather will remain generally clear, with the northern region, particularly in the eastern parts, witnessing partly cloudy skies and a possibility of light rain showers. The temperatures are expected to be similar to those of the previous day.
For Monday, the weather is anticipated to be generally clear, with no significant changes in temperature. On Tuesday, conditions are expected to continue being generally clear, maintaining the temperature patterns observed in the preceding days.
