Baghdad: The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has condemned the terrorist suicide bombing that targeted Mar Elias Church in Damascus. This attack has drawn strong denunciation from the ministry, emphasizing the grave nature of such acts.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry issued a statement warning about the dangers posed by these criminal acts, which are intended to incite discord and strife among the different population groups. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs highlighted that targeting places of worship and religious sites is a deliberate attempt to undermine the social fabric and provoke sectarian violence.
