Baghdad: Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi announced that his government is focused on expanding Iraq’s international relations and supporting development initiatives.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Zaidi stated his intentions through a tweet as he embarks on his first official visit to Europe, which includes stops in France and Germany. The visit aims to reinforce relationships across various sectors between Iraq and European Union countries.
Al-Zaidi emphasized that the government’s strategy is rooted in fostering Iraq’s openness to the international community and enhancing the investment climate. He highlighted Iraq’s longstanding and effective partnerships with France and Germany and underscored the importance of elevating cooperation to benefit the friendly peoples of both nations.
