Baghdad:Iraqi Prime Minister Ali Faleh al-Zaidi has expressed Iraq’s solidarity with the Kingdom of Spain following a deadly train collision in the south of the country. The tragic incident resulted in several fatalities and injuries.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Prime Minister al-Zaidi conveyed Iraq’s full support to the Spanish government and its people in the aftermath of the collision.

The Prime Minister’s Media Office released a statement in which al-Zaidi extended his condolences to the families of the victims and expressed sympathy for their loss. He also wished a swift recovery for those who were injured in the accident.
