Cairo: Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein chaired today, Thursday, the meeting of the Committee for Following Up on the Implementation of Ministerial Resolutions and Commitments, held at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that Hussein opened the session by expressing his gratitude to the Secretary-General of the Arab League and the member states of the committee, praising the efforts made in monitoring and implementing the adopted resolutions.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting reviewed the committee’s semi-annual report, which included the recommendations prepared by the Permanent Representatives during their preparatory meeting on September 1, 2025. The report also included details related to paragraph (34) presented by the Secretary-General. The recommendations were endorsed based on the deliberations of the Permanent Representatives.
Minister Hussein concluded the session by stressing the important role of the General Secretariat in supporting the work of the committee. He extended his thanks to both the Secretary-General and the Assistant Secretary-General of the Arab League.
