Tel Aviv: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that Israel will prevent the entry of all goods and supplies into the Gaza Strip starting from Sunday morning, coinciding with the end of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement in the Strip.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that Netanyahu’s government ordered the army to close all crossings leading to the Gaza Strip today, 43 days after the ceasefire agreement in Gaza.

For its part, the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said that the decision to stop humanitarian aid is cheap blackmail, a war crime, and a blatant coup against the agreement. It accused Netanyahu of trying to impose political facts on the ground after his army failed to establish them over 15 months.

The movement renewed its commitment to implementing the agreement in its three phases, noting that it has repeatedly announced its readiness to start negotiations for the second phase.

Meanwhile, thousands of Israelis demonstrated in Tel Aviv and in more than 70 locations in Israel to demand a deal that would return all prisoners in Gaza.

This comes in conjunction with the continuation of the Israeli aggression on the West Bank, with raids, arrests, and sending reinforcements to areas targeted by military campaigns.
