Amman: Jordan has announced the interception of Iranian missiles, affirming that its armed forces are prepared to address any potential threats.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the government released a statement confirming that sirens were activated after missiles from Iran breached Jordan’s airspace. The statement assured that the missiles were successfully intercepted, highlighting the preparedness of the Kingdom’s military forces to manage any such incidents.

The Jordanian Armed Forces confirmed that a total of eight missiles launched towards the Kingdom from Iran were neutralized. The incident underscores the ongoing vigilance and defensive capabilities of Jordan’s military in safeguarding its national security.
