Karbala: Majida Al-Ardawi, a candidate for the Karbala Creativity bloc and a member of the provincial council, survived an assassination attempt after leaving an election rally to present her platform.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Ardawi reported that gunmen on a motorcycle opened fire on her as she was departing from an election rally in the ‘Tourist’ area. Fortunately, the attack did not result in any injuries.
