Karbala Officials Finalize Arbaeen Pilgrimage Preparations

Karbala: A meeting was held in Karbala to discuss the final preparations for the Arbaeen pilgrimage. The Governor of Holy Karbala, Engineer Nassif Jassim Al-Khattabi, chaired the meeting, which included the Deputy Governor for Financial and Administrative Affairs and the directors of service departments and sections concerned with the millions of pilgrims and services. The meeting aimed to review the latest preparations for implementing the service plan for the Arba'een pilgrimage of Imam Hussein.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the departments reviewed completed projects, requirements, and observations noted during last year's pilgrimage. Additionally, they discussed their needs for direct support and assistance to ensure the completion of all duties within the specified timeframes. This preparation aligns with the scale of the millions-strong pilgrimage and its requirements.

The Governor emphasized that early preparation and high-level coordination among all departments are essential for the success of the service plan. He directed that all human and logistical resources be utilized, requirements expedited, and any obstacles addressed immediately. This approach aims to ensure the best possible services are provided to millions of pilgrims and to reflect the prominent position that Holy Karbala holds in hosting millions of pilgrims.
