Karbala: The Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Office of the Karbala Police Command arrested a foreigner and three Iraqis in possession of 5 kg of crystal methamphetamine.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Karbala Narcotics Control Office carried out the arrest in an apartment located in a southern neighborhood of the province. The seized drugs included 3 kg in liquid form.

The source further reported that during the arrest process, one of the suspects attempted suicide but was rescued following an armed confrontation. The investigation papers have been completed, and the suspects have been referred to the relevant courts.
