Baghdad: The Ministry of Agriculture announced that a fire that broke out at its headquarters has been extinguished with no injuries reported.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Ministry of Agriculture released a statement to reassure the public about the fire incident that occurred at its headquarters in Baghdad on the morning of January 21, 2026. The statement highlighted that the Civil Defense teams from the Rusafa District successfully managed to control and extinguish the fire in the ministry building in record time.

The Ministry confirmed that there were no injuries or casualties resulting from the fire. The damage incurred was limited to minor material losses within the building.
