Khamenei’s Advisor Warns Trump’s Threats Against Iranian Infrastructure Could Undermine American Hegemony

Tehran: Mohammad Mokhbar, an advisor to the Iranian Supreme Leader, has issued a stern warning against any potential targeting of Iranian infrastructure, labeling it a "red line" in response to threats made by US President Donald Trump. Mokhbar emphasized the serious implications such actions could have on the longstanding dominance of the United States.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Mokhbar stated that the United States often approaches matters through military strategies, while Iran prefers to respond with a broader historical perspective. He cautioned that any attack on Iran's infrastructure could lead to significant disruptions in the foundational aspects of American hegemony, which have been established over the past 250 years. Mokhbar suggested that such an attack could dismantle the command and economic systems that the US relies on.

His remarks come at a time of heightened tensions between Washington and Tehran, with both nations exchanging threats and military actions following recent developments in regional security. The confrontation escalated notably after the breakdown of the ceasefire on July 8, leading to ongoing exchanges of military strikes and verbal threats.

Additionally, US reports have surfaced indicating that presidential directives are in place to prepare for a new wave of attacks intended to exert further pressure on Iran.
