Kirkuk: Kirkuk University announced the establishment of a seismic monitoring station, in coordination with the Mesopotamia Valley Center and several other Iraqi universities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, University President Dr. Imran Jamal Hassan affirmed that this step aims to enhance access to and provision of advanced seismic and technical data to relevant institutions and media outlets. The initiative also seeks to provide a reliable and sustainable digital database for postgraduate students and researchers, and actively contribute to the national monitoring network.
