Diwaniyah: A number of lawyers staged a protest in Clock Square in front of the local government building in Diwaniyah to demand that Governor Abbas Al-Zamili distribute residential land to them.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the protesting lawyers also called on the provincial Council to intervene to expedite the distribution process after completing the relevant procedures. The demonstration highlights the growing frustration among legal professionals in the area over delays in the allocation of residential land, which is seen as a critical issue for their community.
