Beirut: The Lebanese army continues its deployment in southern Lebanon after the withdrawal of the Israeli army. The Lebanese army confirmed that its units have completed reinforcing their deployment on Monday in several southern towns, namely Ain Ebel, Debel, and Rmeish in the district of Bint Jbeil in the western sector, and the towns of Bint Jbeil and Ainata in the central sector. This action follows the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation army from these areas, coordinated with UNIFIL and the five-member committee supervising the ceasefire agreement.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Lebanese army stated in a statement that specialized units are conducting an engineering survey, opening roads, and handling unexploded ordnance such as mines, booby-traps, and other suspicious objects left behind by the Israeli occupation army. The statement emphasized ongoing violations by the occupation army of the ceasefire agreement and attacks on Lebanese sovereignty, including the destruction of homes and infrastructure in several border areas.

The Lebanese army command has called on citizens to avoid approaching the area and to adhere to the instructions of the military units until the deployment concludes.
