Baghdad: Under the auspices of the Senior Undersecretary, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Legal Department of the Ministry of Interior and the Iraqi Jurists Union. The agreement seeks to develop legal expertise and raise the professional performance level of the ministry’s legal staff.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the memorandum is part of an initiative led by Hussein Al-Awadi, the Senior Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior. The objective is to enhance the capabilities of legal personnel to meet institutional requirements and support the mission of the Ministry of Interior. It involves organizing and conducting specialized training courses and programs designed to enhance skills and develop legal capabilities.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by the Director of the Legal Department, Lieutenant General Ali Hammoud Abbas, and the President of the Iraqi Jurists Union, Qasim Ta’ma Jawda. The collaboration aims to provide structured development opportunities for the ministry’s legal staff, fostering a more competent and efficient workforce.
