Dubai: The President of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, met with the Prime Minister of Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, in Dubai today to discuss the strengthening of relations and consolidation of cooperation between the Kurdistan Region and Kuwait.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the regional government highlighted that the Prime Minister of Kuwait extended an invitation to Masrour Barzani to visit Kuwait, emphasizing the country’s interest in developing relations with the Kurdistan Region.

President Barzani emphasized the importance of enhancing bilateral relations and consolidating cooperation and joint coordination between the Kurdistan Region and Kuwait across various fields. The meeting also covered the latest developments in Iraq and the broader regional context, reflecting the ongoing strategic engagement between the two leaders.
