Baghdad: The Military Intelligence Directorate has announced the arrest of 16 individuals accused of various legal offenses across four different governorates.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the directorate’s statement revealed that the arrests were carried out by detachments from the intelligence and security departments of the 1st, 15th, 16th, 17th, and 22nd Divisions. These operations targeted individuals wanted by the judiciary for a range of legal charges.

The operations took place in the provinces of Baghdad, Diyala, Nineveh, and Maysan, showcasing the coordinated efforts of the Military Intelligence Directorate to address legal offenses within these regions.
