Baghdad:Communications Minister Mustafa Sanad announced the decision to advance the ban on the Waze app to December. Previously, the ban was set to take effect at the start of 2027.

According to the Iraqi News Agency, Sanad stated that the decision to revoke the initial timeline and implement the ban sooner was made in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency.
