Baghdad: Minister of Education Abdul Karim Abtan al-Jubouri inaugurated the data center of the General Directorate of Educational Planning, marking a new step in the development of the ministry’s digital infrastructure and information management.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry stated in a press release that the center includes electronic systems and services within a centralized structure. This initiative aims to consolidate the ministry’s information, reduce fragmentation, and ensure the continuity and security of services.

Al-Jubouri highlighted that the project is part of a vision linking planning with information and technology, treating data as an institutional resource that supports decision-making and service development. The Minister of Education praised the efforts of the implementing teams and entities, emphasizing the aspiration for a more efficient and secure digital system that makes data a readily available tool for developing work and modernizing the ministry’s services.
