Baghdad: The Minister of Education has issued directives to facilitate procedures for visitors, with a special focus on those with humanitarian cases. Abdul Karim Abtan al-Jubouri, the Minister of Education, personally reviewed a number of requests from visitors to the Citizens’ Affairs Department, attentively listening to their needs and comments.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Abtan instructed the relevant departments to assess submitted files and take necessary actions promptly. The goal is to expedite procedures and streamline processes for visitors, especially those with humanitarian or emergency cases, as well as those traveling from other provinces. The Minister underscored the importance of swift processing of applications and resolving issues within the bounds of legal authority. By doing so, he aims to reduce bureaucratic obstacles and ensure that no requests are delayed until all necessary procedures are fulfilled.

Additionally, the Director General of Cultural Relations, Majid Kamel al-Shammari, along with the Director of the Citizens’ Affairs Department and his staff, continued to process and follow up on visitors’ applications to ensure their completion.
