Baghdad: The Minister of Education, Abdul Karim Abtan al-Jubouri, has issued a directive allowing the admission of twin students into schools for gifted students for the academic year 2026-2027. This policy applies to twins applying for the first intermediate grade, contingent on one twin passing the entrance exam.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry has distributed this directive to the relevant authorities, instructing them to take the necessary actions to ensure the implementation of this policy. The directive aims to facilitate the admission of the other twin into the same school if one qualifies through the entrance examination.
