Baghdad: Before the start of the school year, the Minister of Education reorganizes the distribution of staff. Minister of Education Abdul Karim Abtan al-Jubouri directed the directors of the six general education directorates in Baghdad (Karkh and Rusafa), in the presence of the Director General of Educational Supervision and the directors of the personnel departments, to conduct a fair adjustment of teaching staff before the start of the new academic year.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, Al-Jubouri stressed the necessity of preparing a plan outlining the schools’ needs for teachers in each subject and specialization, addressing both surpluses and shortages, so that staff are assigned to the schools that truly need them. The Minister of Education emphasized that assignments should be based on actual need, free from favoritism, affirming that the student’s primary right is to have a teacher of their specialization in the classroom, while also addressing surpluses and shortages before the start of the academic year.
