Baghdad: Minister of Education Abdul Karim Abtan al-Jubouri, while leading the Advisory Board meeting, reviewed 12 educational, legal, and administrative files. The meeting included the participation of Dr. Burhan Mazhar al-Qaisi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice for Administrative, Financial, and Legal Affairs.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on the report from the Federal Board of Supreme Audit and the implementation guidelines of the Ministry of Education Law. Discussions also covered examination fees in private schools, draft laws concerning school canteens and stamp duty, as well as the recognition of higher degrees and appointment procedures forwarded by the Prime Minister’s Office.

The Board also deliberated on the potential establishment of examination centers for inmates in Baghdad and Nineveh. The objective is to support the education of inmates, with a decision to be made by the Permanent Committee for Public Examinations. The collection of fees was another topic of discussion, addressing various issues impacting students, schools, and the administrative framework of educational activities.
