Baghdad: Minister of Health, Dr. Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, held a meeting with the Swedish Embassy’s Charg© d’Affaires, J¶rgen Lindstr¶m, accompanied by a delegation, at the Ministry’s headquarters. The discussion included the Ministry’s Technical Undersecretary, Dr. Hani Al-Aqabi, along with several other officials.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting focused on exploring opportunities for enhancing health cooperation between Iraq and Sweden. The dialogue aimed at strengthening bilateral relations, promoting investment in both public and private health sectors, and encouraging partnerships with Swedish pharmaceutical and medical device companies.

The Swedish Charg© d’Affaires, J¶rgen Lindstr¶m, expressed Sweden’s commitment to supporting the development of Iraq’s health sector and enhancing cooperative ties between the two countries.
