Baghdad: The Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Abdul Hussein Al-Moussawi, has issued a ministerial order to reconstitute the investigative committee at the Iraqi University. This move aims to ensure that the committee’s formation and structure align with the principles of integrity and impartiality in administrative procedures.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the ministry emphasized in a press release that the order reflects its commitment to fostering an independent and objective investigative environment. This environment is crucial to ensuring that administrative procedures remain free from conflicts of interest or undue influence affecting the parties involved. The ministry stressed the importance of adopting high standards of accuracy and objectivity in investigations, steering clear of any unprofessional motives or malicious practices.

The press release further detailed that, in accordance with legal parameters and established regulations, the ministerial order requires the investigative committee to be led by an independent academic figure. Dr. Safaa Al-Issawi, President of Al-Mustansiriya University, has been appointed as the chairperson, alongside several specialists as members. This composition aims to guarantee the protection of rights, ensure the integrity of outcomes, and reinforce the rule of law.
