Karbala: Minister of Interior Abdul Amir Al-Shammari engaged in discussions in the holy Karbala Governorate regarding the measures implemented to ensure the security and smooth movement of visitors during the middle of Shaaban visit.
According to National Iraqi News Agency, a statement from the Ministry of Interior highlighted that Minister Al-Shammari met with Governor Nassif Al-Khattabi and Chief of Staff of the Army, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Rashid Yaraallah, to review the progress of the Shaaban visit plan. The focus of the meeting was on ensuring a secure environment and facilitating the movement of visitors as they head to the holy city of Karbala to commemorate the significant occasion.
The statement further mentioned that Minister Al-Shammari examined the visitor movement through surveillance systems at the Karbala Police Command. He emphasized the necessity of coordination and collaboration between security forces and visitors, along with the importance of cooperation among all parties involved. The Minister underscored the need for intensified efforts as the visit reaches its peak, with a significant influx of visitors arriving in Karbala. He reiterated the need for full adherence to the established plans for this event, which draws millions from both within and outside the country.
