Baghdad: Minister of Migration and Displacement Evan Faeq Jabro held a meeting with Christiana Homann, the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Iraq, along with her delegation, at the Ministry’s headquarters in central Baghdad. The meeting was attended by members of the Migration and Displacement and Integrity Committees in Parliament, Duraid Jamil Isho and Dankha Abdul Ahad Abdul Masih.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the discussions focused on enhancing cooperation and joint coordination between Iraq and Germany, particularly in supporting displaced persons and returnees. The discussions also covered the ongoing coordination efforts to provide necessary assistance to these groups. A significant part of the conversation was dedicated to the return of families from the Syrian Al-Hol camp to Iraq and the importance of resolving this issue promptly.
