Minister of Trade and Saudi Counterpart Discuss Enhancing Bilateral Trade and Investment Cooperation.


ISTANBUL: Minister of Trade Athir Dawood Al-Ghariri engaged in discussions with his Saudi counterpart, Majid Al-Qasabi, focusing on enhancing bilateral relations and expanding cooperation in joint trade and economic fields.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, during the meeting held on the sidelines of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMSC) in Istanbul, Minister Al-Ghariri emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts to overcome challenges facing the private sector. He highlighted the need to bolster the private sector’s role in comprehensive economic development.

Al-Ghariri remarked that the discussions with his Saudi counterpart signify a significant step towards strengthening the partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This meeting is seen as paving the way for more productive cooperation within the economic and investment relations framework between the two nations, aligning with mutual benefits.
