Baghdad: The Minister of Water Resources, Muthanna al-Tamimi, held a meeting with Karim Khasbak, the President of the State Council, to discuss legislative matters pertinent to the ministry.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the meeting took place at the State Council headquarters on Thursday morning. The discussions focused on laws, regulations, and internal bylaws related to the Ministry of Water Resources and its affiliated departments. These documents are currently under review by the State Council, a step necessary before they can be finalized through the established legal procedures.

The discussions also covered the mechanisms necessary to complete the legislative process for these laws and regulations. The aim is to streamline institutional operations and to fortify the legal framework that governs the ministry and its various departments.
