Ministry of Interior Continues Construction of Concrete Wall on Iraqi-Syrian Border


Baghdad: The Ministry of Interior announced the continuation of work on the concrete wall along the Iraqi-Syrian border as part of efforts to strengthen security fortifications and protect the border.



According to National Iraqi News Agency, Interior Ministry spokesman Colonel Mohammed Ali al-Hassoun stated, “The Border Guard Command is continuing its work on completing the concrete wall along the Iraqi-Syrian border, north of the Rabia area towards Fishkhabur, as part of efforts to strengthen security fortifications and protect the border.” The work is being carried out using the resources and capabilities of the Command’s concrete plant, which contributes to accelerating the pace of completion and enhancing border readiness.
