Ministry of Labor Clarifies Land Registration Procedures for Disabled Persons in Nineveh Plains

Baghdad: The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs has provided a detailed clarification regarding the land registration procedures for persons with disabilities and special needs residing in the Nineveh Plains. This initiative is part of the Prime Minister’s ongoing efforts to support and facilitate the housing needs of eligible individuals in coordination with municipal authorities.

According to National Iraqi News Agency, the Commission for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities and Special Needs emphasized that individuals eligible for the full-time caregiver’s allowance should visit the municipalities of Bashiqa and Nimrud in the Hamdaniya district to complete their registration. They must verify their information against the lists from the Nineveh Municipalities Directorate and provide necessary documents, including a national ID card, residency card, ration card, and medical reports.

The Commission’s statement highlights the importance of these procedures in ensuring the rights of persons with disabilities and aiding their access to government initiatives focused on housing and social stability. Eligible individuals are urged to adhere to the approved regulations and complete the registration process promptly.
